The Great War Flying Museum

To honour the pilots who served with gallantry and distinction during the Great War of 1914 – 1918.

Our Projects

Currently, the museum has two build projects underway. The first is a Sopwith Camel, to be painted in the colours of Canadian ace Major William George Barker, VC.

The second is an Airco DH2, possibly to be marked as the one flown by English RFC ace Major Lanoe George Hawker. Hawker perished in aerial combat with the well-known German ace, Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen.
