To honour the pilots who served with gallantry and distinction during the Great War of 1914 – 1918.
The 55th season of the Great War Flying Museum takes off Victoria Day weekend!
Our friendly and knowledgeable members are excited to get back to giving tours of our museum and answering any questions you may have about the aircraft and Canada’s participation in World War One.
Weather permitting, we will do some flying with our replica WWI aircraft!
We will use the occasion of our opening weekend to also mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, which was formed in April 1924.
The museum is open Saturdays and Sundays, plus Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day.
Admission is by donation. As a not-for-profit, CRA-registered charity, the museum depends on donations from its volunteer members and visitors like you to maintain its exhibits and fly the aircraft.
