Airport Day 2025

Airport Day at The Great War Flying Museum – Sunday September 7th

Our annual Airport Day fundraiser is your last chance to see our World War One artefacts and replica aircraft before we close for the season.

Entrance fees: $10 for adults, or $20 per family (up to 3 paying adults). $5 for students and seniors. Kids under 14 are free with a paying adult. Proceeds support The Great War Flying Museum. As a not-for-profit organization, the museum depends on donations from its volunteer members and visitors like you to maintain its exhibits and fly the aircraft.

Airport Day runs from 10:00 to 4:00. One of our aircraft will take to the skies every hour, weather permitting, starting at 11:00.

More activities (additional fees apply):

  • Join the museum as an Associate and go for a flight in the Sopwith 1½ Strutter
  • For kids 3-6: aspiring pilots can take flight in our kiddie ride for a toonie
  • Books, models, and aviation gifts
  • Silent auction, with exciting items generously donated by Spirit Tree Estate Cidery, Downey’s Farm, Rusty Jade Ranch, and more!

Enter at the first building on the right at Brampton-Caledon airport. Parking is free.
