To honour the pilots who served with gallantry and distinction during the Great War of 1914 – 1918.
Pilot. Flying instructor. Bush pilot. Corporate pilot. 747 (Wardair) and 767 (Canadian Airlines) Captain.
Wally had a long and interesting career as an aviator. In his retirement he joined us at The Great War Flying Museum where his many skills, quiet competance and gentlemanly demeanor were admired by all of us. There was no task too trivial and he was always ready with a helping hand. Wally always had a kind word, a ready smile, and a good hangar story to share.
Wally was certainly one of the best, and we shall all miss him.
Goodbye, dear friend. You left us too soon.
