To honour the pilots who served with gallantry and distinction during the Great War of 1914 – 1918.
ANZAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) Day was first commemorated on 25th April 1916 to memorialize the role of the Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli and is observed on the 25th of April each year.
We honour them by flying the national flag of Australia this year.
